sharing e-books!!

hi! does someone knows where can i find e-books about 3d max or maya with bittorrent or irc? (i already have downloaded every e-book of maya and 3dmax that exist in kazaa) if someone have some good ones leave your msn so we can share.

SangerJason, in order to get files you must first connect to a server and join a channel. The hard part of course is finding what server and channel you need to join which may be what packetnews.com will help you decide. I used to get my ebooks (before I got banned) from irc.nullus.net in the channel #bw. In order to connect to this server and join the channel type the following in the main irc window that comes up ("Status"):

/server irc.nullus.net:6667

then once connected type:

/join #bw


Once you are there you should be able to find someone friendly enough to tell you how to download a list from the different servers in the room and actually request the books that you are looking for. Be sure to read the help (type: "!rules" in the channel window without the "s) when you first arrive so as not to make any silly mistakes and get banned.


As for torrents check http://www.digital-update.com/forums/index.php and http://www.suprnova.org They might have something, but I sincerely doubt it.

Anyway, if you do make it into #bw check for s|d|k, that's me. I'll help you out on anything you need if I am there (except 3d modeling, I can't do much of that).

I've tried many times to download the book from the link you gave, but after 1% it gives an error, why?.
