| Registered User | Hi, i have a quick question on putting up reference images in 3Ds Max You see i've been trying to model a car, and i've found blueprints for it. When I set up reference with the blueprints, I tried this method: ![]() However the details of the blueprints appears to be brought down...: ![]() The original pictures from the blueprint were very details and the lines are not cut-up and disconnected like it is shown in 3Ds max, so can anyone help and teach me a way to get the reference in 3Ds max to look as detailed as the original please? thanks for helping Last edited by StormClouds; 09-27-2008 at 12:41 AM.. |

| Member | Go to Customize -> Preference. Then, click on Viewports and click on Configure Driver. Under Appearance Preference, you can choose the settings that you want (the higher number you chose, the smoother the lines will be but your 3DS Max will be a bit slower, especially when you don't have enough RAM or slow processor. Thanks. |
