Question Question about 3Dexport/selling models

Hi all of you Artists!

I have a few small Questions about selling 3D models, first of all i tried to check some forums and the 3Dexport FAQ but couldn't find anything about theese Questions:

1. Do you need to get the brand/creators approval to sell a model, example: if i model a Ferrari car model, do i have to talk to them and get aproval to sell the model representing their product?
Also if you model a famous furniture, is there any international law stopping me from selling these models online?

2. Do i need to pay Taxes for theese sold models, and under what category?, i live in sweden and im 18y old and selling models as a private person, Do i have to register this income and pay taxes on the models i sell? if anyone in sweden knows this i would love a answer.

Thx alot!

1. You can sell anything you want as long the models are yours, and no one can stop you to sell this models/textures/special packs. You don't need approval for models to sell, but if your model in not attractive they are holding their right to remove it.

2. You don't pay any tax but from your models price they take 30% or more witch means that you get up to 70% from original price. That is how you actually pay them, by just sharing sold money with them.

Last part I can't answer because even I didn't established that but if you want to have any income you should fill in the information (bank account and etc...), but as I said you don't pay anything maybe just for the money transfer.

PS: I hope I helped you...

Cheers...

OK! Thanks alot, you answered it all :), allthough im guessing that the money i get transfered from my, say PayPal account, to my personal bank account will be taxed at a normal income rate, ( in sweden, something 20-30% if you make over 16000-ish SEK /year ) But, ill leave that information open if anyone else have that information,

Thx alot!
