proplem with making lines on the blueprints(3d max)

hi iam new with 3d max
i downloaded a tut for how to make a car?
iam going ok with it but the tut said i must make lines like
in that pic on the body of car:

ok i know how to make the lines and i made it but the proplem is when i start to make the line on the blueprint the lines go draw behind the blueprint so i cant see what iam drawing and i turned the camera and started drawing again and the same proplem in
please help me
