Problems Baking Textures

Im a novice user in 3d Studio Max but I know my way around modeling and texturing for basic stuff. Lately Ive been getting into Baking Textures so I can (duh) apply more light effects and because the program I make the objects for is limited I have to apply as much texturing as possible to keep the framerate up.

My main problem is when I go to bake the texture, its not baking the every side of the object. Ive selected all the faces, tried several different tutorials.

All I want to do is bake the entire thing, then map it on in the easiest possible way so when I export it and import into my other program the mapping is correct and just like if I had used several different textures instead of one baked map, though thats the end result I want.

But so far, Itll only seem to render what I see in the viewport. IE top and side. Or side and bottom, etc.
