Rep Power: 0  | Pitch black ??? Hello boys and girls, I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hey. I was wondering if anyone has ever made a model of the creatures from the film PITCH BLACK. I am attempting to make to make one in max, but as I am self taught and have only been using it for about 6 to 7 months I am finding making an organing quite challenging.... |

Rep Power: 5 | No. Trust me the character modeling is not so easy, and that is why I don't model living objects. I don't model even a tree, well the tree is very complicated for modeling xD. P.S. I will have to watch the movie to see if I can help you somehow, but I'm sure if I cant help you there are many more qualified users on this forum. I can give you some tips, like just to for starters. Do a sketch in photoshop of how would you like your character to look. ;) Cheers  |

Rep Power: 5 | You better learn Gimp, people say it is similar to PS. But you don't need to draw this on computer for instance, draw it on paper in graphite. Next step you can try smtn like this see here. From there just follow the video. ;) Have fun... |
