one problem in video post

hi.i have a problem with video post in 3dsmax 2009.whenever i try use video post it dont work& when i wanna add a light or evry thing to video post...not hapeninig...plz guide me!(sorry for my english)

my english is not so good!but i try.i am using video post in max 2009 & as i wanna to Add a light or other objects to list of video post to tack an effect (exampel:light effect)
no heppening...& video post dont tack effect on that object(sory for my english)

Don't worry about you English, I can even understand this guy. And trust me that is hard to do but I manage. Your English is rather good comparing to someones (hahaha)...

Anyway, about this video post. I didn't had much experience with it, so I just can't tell. I had encounter it only once, and that my friend was 7 years ago. I have been working wit max 9 years but I only know the basics of the program. I just started extending my knowledge, so only thing I can do for you is to PM certain members of this forum to help you. There are many far more experienced members than me, so that is what I will do.

PS: I hope that you are safe my friend, I mean from this war that has been raging.

@SDA....LOL, friend my english is as good as anyone else's would be, who stays in an english speaking state.....my only problem is that I'm rather heavily influenced by the english of a few Scandinavian Heavy Metal bands, who write such words in lyrics n also sing them like that...eg: Of-ov , You-ye

co-incidently even facebook has started supporting a certain language called "Pirate-English" check it out if you want to know more of such langs

But never mind that, lets focus on the subject. Please tell us what is video post used for Mohammad. I have used is only once and that was like just to try what is this thing, and it was around 7-8 years.

well, so...Video Post is used for Post-processing purposes, sort ov a native composting method, nw dat v hv many good compositing sftwrs

i checkd tis link out n tried out, n gave me a nice glow effect
