Newbie question

Hi all,

I am new here so bear with me. Just a simple question, is there anybody on this site that develop or design 3D games and if so what software do you use?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

I can tell you witch software you can use, but I don't know actually how. My sister does. Well, all she made so far is plain Tetris. You can use Visual basic, C++ or even C# the choice is yours. There are more of those programs, but if you trying to find specialized ones for games there are none.

To build your own game engine use some of these that I have written.

No problem dude . Cheers

well if you making the stuff for the game you can use software like maya(3d), 3ds max(3d), xsi(3d), flash(2d)

but as far as programming and all that stuff flash uses action script for little games(2d) but for 3d games you would have to do somthing like SDA said with C++ and all that fun stuff

you could also look in to the unreal 3 engine because that is a very good gaming engine.
