| ----'{@ | In need of some help Hey people! I'm in need of some help, if someone can help me out please let me know. Here's my problem, I'm a student and we're currently studying computer graphics, and such.. and we're using 3D Max at school.. however I'm quite a lazy person so attending to school everyday isn't one of those things that I'm good at so I've missed out on a few lessons.. and now to the real problem.. We're starting a project and I'm actually not good at making anything in Max, except maybe donuts and square boxes, but you can't really count those as mine either.. haha soo ok, my project is focused to look like me.. and I have no idea how to even start! I have looked all over the internet for tutorials and such, but they don't make much sense to me as I don't really even know how to make things.. (except for the donuts bla bla).. Could anyone help me out? I know this is a lot to ask for.. but I better ask, it's always worth a shot! :) Last edited by BlueMist; 10-24-2006 at 04:25 AM. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The easiest way would have had to be following inn school. but wen you dont want to do that....then you have a problem. when you say project what kinda project are you doing? and a little tip if you dont know. when you make a box right klikk on it and convert it to a editable poly. i think poly modelling is the easiest way to modell for beginners...(it was what i started with). den you can make a typical extrude/bevle modell (what beginners often do) select a face or faces and hitt the extrude button and bevle button...then you can just move around on som verts. and inn some min you will have your own modell ;) good luck.
