actually you image looks really good.not much to change there. adding a background can change the image for a better look by the way. and if me...i will try to play with lightning...try some different light and you will find which one is the best. and i think you need to edit this(see the image,i marked with red line) Last edited by amek; 07-26-2008 at 09:02 AM. | |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | i dont know what your trying to achieve on the texture, but when you look at the original you can see some grain and wonds on the wall alsow some dirty. all this is part of natur and time and will alsow add more realisim to your model. becaus now it looks like a plane new building right fro mthe factory. alsow you should rounden out some of the topp edges on the bushes becaus we can easly see the chamfering edges. as amek pointed out. but it looks good. realy good :)

| Member | You'll need to use the Unwarp UVW modifier in 3DS Max if you really want to get that kind of 'old' texture (and the stain appearing at the correct place). After that, edit / draw the texture in Photoshop or any other 2D image editing program and use that for your building. That shouldn't be hard for your building, since it's rectangular in shape (a cuboid). There are many tutorials about how to do that (you can just search in Google) Thanks. |
