My name is Ivan Momchilov from Bulgaria (a small country in the Balkan peninsula) I'm 15 years old and I've been "into" 3d for a little over a year and I'm still trying to fit in.
What I want is to become a really good 3D artist and I know it won't be easy and it will take a lot of time but I'm confident that I will make it.
Just to make this topic a bit more interesting I want to ask you how did you became good at 3D and I know there are a lot of good and amazing artists here so if you can give me some pointers, help the young and inexperienced it would be great!

hey Ivan, I'm Shashank from India. Its great to know that you're interested in 3D since this time!

Well, I won't term myself "really good" but, i keep practicing a lot, keep making my own artworks in free time, keep seeing new tutorials and keep trying new stuff all the time.

Well, I'm not advertising this site, but try to take part in the usually ON fun weekly challenges. This will give you an encouragement to make some stuff really fast, speed in imagining as well as making and try something new all the time. And moreover, when you'll see the entries of other challengers, you'll get more ideas and encouragement :)

As for confidence, well, you already said that you have it! :)

Btw, We here would like to see some artworks that you may have already created...why not post some

Zikani, welcome to 3DM3. You can find what you need here just ask senior users and they will assist you. Every one of our members are specializes in one or more areas of 2D/3D so you will have to ask just the right person for help.

For instance, I can help you to get in to 3D, but you will need to tell me what part of 3D would you like me to show you?

Okay...I think it's my turn now :D I'm turkish but I live in Germany. 17 years old and want to start getting active in artistic things again...Yes, again. A few years ago I already started learning some stuff about moddeling and also working with many different programs. The problem is that I had trouble getting better or reaching anything at all because of school and many other hobbies. So I had a huge break and pretty much forgot the things I learned...But seeing you guys' projects in the gallery on this site is just so damn motivating!
There's just one question, that I have (I already started a topic bout' this but didn't get no aswers^^) Where exactly can I post questions on tutorials or things like that?

It depends what do you need to ask, and witch program you are using. If you need guide to how to make different kind of shapes then check out our tutorials. If you need help with something special, don't hesitate to ask any of us, we will help you. If you need help with a general question just post it in open discussion and we will help you.
