I need your help !

Hello
Im a 25 boy who has just graduated from visual communication department. I had some 3D lessons at school , I did some low polygon characters. Thats the all history of mine in 3D.

I ve been going to a company as a trainee for 2 mounts where Im spending my all day there with 3d modeling.

Im really not good at it but I really want to achieve myself. I want to work and earn my money as a 3D artist.

I checked awesome works on gallery here and on forums. They are just like photographs , so realistic.

Whatever Im trying to get your help is how long does it take it to be able to make some works like the ones on forums here ? Do you think is it a talent or can anybody who works hard do it ? I dont beleive in talent however I have to learn fast because now Im a graduate and I must earn my money.

Im posting some examples of my 3D character models. As I know there are simply 2 ways to model a character one is starting from box other is starting from one single polygon. Im trying both ways but Im further behind from the examples on the site

How can I learn this ? Should I view more tutorials ? Is there any book , website I need to know ? Should I practice my drawing ?

Thank you so much for answers and im terribly sorry because of my English and format.

You want to tell about yourslef which makes the employer confident about you. You should give a brief description which is not mentoned on the resume. While describing yourself include some statements which strengthen the chance of getting selected.

Try Mudbox, its a great sculpting program for characters. You can find many tutorials on youtube for Mudbox. I my self am still learning that program ;)

Cheers...

Hello! I know this isn't exactly the answer you are looking for but I think you will find it extremely helpful anyways, no matter what instrument you play.
