| Member | It depends on whether you are aiming for paid or free web hosting. Normally free web hosting will limit your upload file size and have advertisement in your 'website', as well as having frequent downtime / slow loading time. Of course, it also depends on whether you want a subdomain or a domain name. Normally free web hosting will give you free subdomain name, but if you want, you may buy a domain name as well. Thanks. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | You can host a website without advertisement. Try "50webs" well google it. And you can easily figure it out on the website how to register and host it for free. But instead of dot com you can get dot 50webs or we.bs. Depends. You can upload the videos on youtube and then give a flash player link to it so you can host for free with videos on it.... Hope it helps.... |

| Member | But what's the point of 'no ads' when they limit the file size to just 500kB? A flash file is easily over 1MB and that means you can't host it as they have limited a maximum file size of just 500kB per file. Unless you can make your flash file to be less than 500kB, otherwise, it is useless for you. Thanks. |

| Member | Well, I think you have missed some of my (and his) text as well. I am talking about flash files, not a HTML file. A flash site would be something like this : Flash Design )—( ANDY FOULDS DESIGN )—( Freelance Flash Web Designer )———--- For your information, you are designing your site with HTML / CSS, not flash. Therefore, their file size is not very big as they are just in text form, not image / animation as in Flash. Thanks. |
