Question Help me with my 3D modelling? Please?

I am new to the whole 3D thing and am wondering if I could get one of you guys to help me with my modelling.

I was thinking we coud set up an 'Avenue For Teaching'. A link between us (me as the student, and you as the teacher) where we can communicate and advance my skills.

This could possibly be done over this forum (possibly this thread) or via an instant messenger (MSN or Yahoo).

We could share materials, textures, models, renders, directions, etc to get the job done right.

This may not be the most ergonomical way of teaching someone (ie me) how to model, but it is all I can think of. What I'm after is a personalised teaching experience.

Tutorials and tute vids are good, but they don't offer the opportunity to ask questions or sorting out any problems that may occur in realtime.

If you are willing to help me out FOR FREE ( :type: ) then tell me and we'll sort something out.

I hope I explained everything properly.

Basically I want someone (or multiple people) to help me out with my modelling over an IM.

Well, Firstly welcome to 3dm3 :)
I dont really think that you can find a guy, online, that will just teach you the whole 3D thing step by step for free, devoting thier time, your best bet is to join any 3d course in your country/city that offers nice curriculum and where you think u can develop your skills, otherwise, you can start learning from Tutorials and Video Tutorials are, I think are the best Thing ever.
oh and you must be thinking about any queries you might have when learning, well, for that, you are always welcomed here, but plz dont think that any person would be with you all the time. Thank You :)

Cool Lol.

"Well, Firstly welcome to 3dm3"

Why thank you. LOL.

"I dont really think that you can find a guy, online, that will just teach you the whole 3D thing step by step for free, devoting thier time,"

LOL. I realise that would be unlikely. But I'm sure there are some guys/gals out there that may want to help.

"your best bet is to join any 3d course in your country/city that offers nice curriculum and where you think u can develop your skills"

Yeah. But usually you need money for that. And money and I rarely meet under plentiful circumstances.

"you can start learning from Tutorials and Video Tutorials are, I think are the best Thing ever.
oh and you must be thinking about any queries you might have when learning, well, for that, you are always welcomed here,"

Now THAT I can do. LOL.

"but plz dont think that any person would be with you all the time."

Don't worry. I don't.

"Thank You."

No. Thank YOU. LOL.

"Hey DJ_Rise 0, I've sent you a private message. Check it out..."

Done. Thanks.
