German Beer glass moddeling

Wilbur

Hello, can anyone give me some pointers on how to model a “german” beer glass (like the attachment)
I can make the glass with the outline but I find it difficult to create the “windows”.
Is was thinking of using a bump map but maybe I need to use NURBS.

hmm...good question....i think i would first have tryd making the overalshape. then add lots of lines so you can select the quads and bevle them invards to make the window.....or maybi invert and bevel.

remember to chamfere to gett the smooth corners.
i would have done splines then polymodeling.

just start making and post a wip so maybe we can help you along the way :)
