Rep Power: 0  | Creating Text in Maya (Dumb) hi, i am a new maya user and i got the maya 7 PLE and tried out so many things in it but i just couldn't get myself to understand how to create text in maya. It was much easier in max ( i use max very well). I need help on creating text in maya. Pls anyone who can take me on a step by step tutorial on this, i will really appreciate it. It surely sounds dumb but i just can't get it. i don't mind screen shots too (it could be very helpful) |

Rep Power: 6 | Heya:) To create text in Maya is fairly simple..... Goto......Create > Text (Click on the little option box to go into text options) Once the options box opens up, select Bevel as the output type.(I usually use bevel) Once you selected that, it's just a case of playing around with all the options in there and clicking on Create and viola! Your text should appear in your viewport:) Hope that helps :) Mills:)
