CAD PAckage Question

I was wonderin if anyone could help me in my narrow
down my decision, Well I'm supposed to design a CAD
package for a Home (including front and backyard)
new to the whole CAD scene, my question is which
CAD package would one recommend for a person
such as myself (as a newbie) and which is capable of
doing the recommended task.

any ideas would be helpfull.
