Personally, I feel that Nick's render is better (with colour and better texture) but I wonder why he will render it at such a 'weird' angle? If you want to compare something, it's actually better to have the exact same/similar angle. As for the rendering time, I wonder why is that so slow? (30 minutes to render it?). If you are comparing the rendering time vs. quality, it's always better to post the computer spec as well, to be fair.

Thanks.

Mike is talking about the time it took to work on it, it took him 12 minutes, and it took me 40 minutes. I did not use any material, it is all shadowing. And why did I render it at such an angle, I don't know why, I am still a beginner. I started 3D when 3ds max 5 was out and I kept giving up and starting all over. Now I use blender. Everything on mine is modeled, I used symmetry, cut and extrude. My PC specs are Desktop= P4 3.2 GHZ, 1 gig ram, 128mb radeon 9200se vide card and windows XP Media Center. Laptop= 2.0 GHZ dualcore centrino T7300 (64 bit), 2 gig ram, 256 mb Nvidia 8600M GS vide card, Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I used both pc to make it.
