Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Which animation package? I am looking into learning another animation program (already fairly experienced with Lightwave) Which animation package out of Maya, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, or XSI, handles the most polygons, the best, in your experiences....I know there are those of you who use more than one package for various reasons. I am asking for the purposes of making a very detailed animation of the process of giving birth. I already have a pelvis with 51000 polys and I don't want to be bogging down at the end. I use a Dual Quad Windows XP 32 Bit machine (I know, I know 64 bit would help a lot but I just haven't been willing to switch to Vista or Windows 64 Bit) with 8 gigs of Ram and an Nvidia 3700 graphics card. Well.....that and I would like to learn another piece of 3D software. All opinions are very appreciated, Thank you very much! ![]() Bev |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | with max animation plugins are used if you need to do a lot of character animating if not you could just use the included biped. max can animate everything else with ease. if it cant there is a plugin for it. none the programs you listed are polygon heavy programs like zbrush, mudbox and others of that type. but with 8 gigs of ram you should be fine regardless of which 3d program you go with |
