Rep Power: 0 ![]() | 3D Max Biped Help Hi all im doing this animation for my project and we are allowed to use pre-build models. I found a great model but whenever i rotate it or scale it messes up, its as though it is pivoting around the red dot, which I have no clue what it is as i cant select it. I figure its something to do with the biped and something to do with the single footstep as displayed on the picture. I just want to get rid of it so that I can do more with the model than just move it around (which i can do without the model messing up) thanks in advance for any help |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | which part are you intending to move? The red dot should be the pivot point of the foot if not wrong. It'll affect the movement of the pivoted limb (such as foot) if it's in planted & sliding key (IK). If you want to ignore the pivot influence on it, clicking "free key" will free you from it. Hope it helps :) |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thx for the advice, it seemed to get rid of that issue, although there is another problem to do with trying to access the footstep mode as it is unavailable to select, any advice on why this would be? |
