Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Symmetry Problem in 3ds Max 7 I just switched programs. I was using blender for this project but Iv abandoned Blender just so I can get used to 3DS Max again.Im modeling a car right now and I cant seem to get the Symmetry tool to work roght for me. Ive gone through all the settings. The Mirror axis at z or Mirror axis at z flipped etc. It dosnt mirror the right side I would like it to. The first pic is the car without symmetry and the second pic is the car with symmetry. BTW this is my first car. :super: |

| Registered User | You'll need to move the mirror plane too point 0... You do that by clicking on the "+" beside of the "Symmetry" text. It will expand and fron the one-option list, click "mirror. ![]() Now play with the settings. You probably wanna mirror your model in the y or x axis. And make sure if "Flip" should be checked or not... :) Good work so far, I'd love to see more! Last edited by Anifacted; 08-14-2006 at 02:45 PM. |
