Ok the last Post was for your blueprint ;)

for connecting that vertex to the segment , you should use ( CUT ) first click on the vertex then click on the place you want it to be connected

Not to many people know this trick, i kinda learned it by accident in my time modding, the pic should be pretty self explanatory, and uses the least amount of resources. Oh yea the shader is colortest.fx

hehe np man glad to be a help. I was making a model for a mod for bf2 one nite, and realized when i was skinning with the bf2 static mesh shader that fx shaders tend to render much clearer in the viewport, so i did some messing around with my blueprints and figured out the colortest.fx gave the best results for blueprints ...

cut tool click the cut tool to make a new segment also

iam not sure if you all ready know but when you model cars be sure to use edge tightening e.g.:

i use 3d max 9 at 32 bit. i make a plane i add on it a material with diffuse a bitmap with a part of the blueprints but the blueprints is blurred and of a bad quality in 3dm.
i post the project and a screen shot of my problem. please help me.

This is my answer in another forum a few months ago (same as his answer), just copied and pasted :Pi have a video tutorial... and in a moment he select a vertice (in poly) and click on a opposite segment and Max create the segment from the vertice he select to the point of the segment he click... How to make this
