Rep Power: 0 ![]() | It's better to use blueprints instead of refrence images. You can get blueprints from this link.(http://www.onnovanbraam.com/) You might wanna start with a square lke car with not that many curves. Hope that helps, Have fun... |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | Well it is not very important to use blueprints, if u have good photos. Side photo is the most important. I advice u to start from whole profile. Just paint splines around car, using the photo. After that think of most important lines in the car. This is important part. Try to use not much lines. This will probably be window lines, several vertical lines at doors, etc. All this was in side - 2D. Photo is no longer very useful. Now do the editions in 3d. Turn your car in some directions, place the points. U can use all the photos u have for this: top, front.. I now this sounds too easy, but thats it. Put on surface modifier and vouala ! U have base model. Of course u need editions in mesh to add details, or u can use nurbs.. There are lots of different techniques, but this is the simpliest method. I hope u find this useful :D |
