Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Help in Car modeling :( Hi im new to this Forum but alredy learn a lot. Wondering if someone can do a good tutorial on car modeling step by step with almost every clik in 3ds because im going crazy with tutorials i have found where they skipped main things in modelling on witch i always stuck. I have tried modeling with planes in edit poly and mesh, also tried with vertices and splines but i simply can't match whole thing in all viewports. I guess that this kind of modeling is not very hard to do but i just need one time to see the thing going from the beginning to the end and i think i could do it again on some other blueprint with no problem. (quick learner) :) sry for my english.... Can somebody help? ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | to: Need_Help - i have matched the blueprints corectly ( i guess) but im having trouble with edges of plane when pulling it all over the blueprint, i can't match it corectly because i can't do that all the planes are aligned in all viewports ( i'm trying with edit. plane modeling) to: mayank - is the box modeling more easy than other? witch one is the easiest way to model a car? i'm here right now, trying to finish mazda rx8 tutorial to learn basics and advanced car modeling: ![]() EDIT: I'm having further problems and the project is going very slow due to i think bad blueprints or bad setup of them :S Side of the car with meshsmooth aplied (you can see distorsions) ![]() and the same thing renderd ![]() I'm really crazy with all this, obviusly none of my blueprints is not set corectly because i'm starting to se diferences when stretching the planes all over them, they don't fit corectly :S arghhhh Please someone point me to the easiest tutorial of car modeling on the easiest possible way and with some descent blueprints :) Last edited by ClownKiller; 09-07-2007 at 04:40 PM. |

| Member | The vertices error are caused by either lack of polygon (make sure all your polygons are quad, not triangle) or maybe there are some vertices haven't weld. For the 'problem' on modelling, you must check on all the viewports for the vertices/faces you have added. Usually, after you added vertices/faces from the side view (left/right) you need to check the front view, then only the top view. Thanks. |
