Cutting models

Hy I need a way to make cutting plans from my meshes, I need to make patterns to cut. thanks

Do you want to cut the object in half or just on certain faces.

If just on certain faces then turn it into a mesh and use the "Cut" tool.

If you want to cut the whole thing in half at a certain spot turn it into a mesh and use the "Cut Plane" tool

I need to corret my question, I need a way to generate 2d cutting pattern from a 3d object. An example I made a sphere I divide it in six, and I need a way to translate those 6 parts of the sphere to fabric so I can made this sphere in real life.
