Question T-rex model texturing

This site is FANTASTIC ! Greetings to all of you. I'm working on a dinosaur model (T. rex). I'm pleased with the model, but I'm haveing problems texturing it. What I want are pretty detailed textures. I was wondering if anyone could tell me few tips & tricks, techniques & stuff like that. Thank's anyway.

:susel:
Sorry if my English is bad (probably it is...).

Here is my model.

Thanks for compliment!

All that I have it a standard texture Dino from 3ds max.
You need to segment model (head, foots, body etc...) and to apply a texture to each of them. Use Unwrap UVW.

Good luck to you

Well, thanks. I was thinking to do that too, but there is a little problem. As I said, I'd like the texture to be hi-detailed. What I did was: I segmented the model (so that each part is a different object), I applied Unwrap UVW to each, I created a BIG bump & diffuse maps for every individual part (now you are thinking: "Huh, Polyman is one COMPLICATED person...")... The problem is, when I put all of that together, I get ugly transitions where the parts are connected.

Try to adjust the texture in Unwrap UVW or something else. Any ideas?

Thanks! The texture is almost finished, but the bump is a bit complicated. I'll send you a picture of textured model soon.
