| Llama in a Tophat | Skyborne - A Demo Reel Hi, I'm working on my final project for my studies, and thougth i'd post it on here. I'm currently studying and working on my demo reel as my final project, but I'd love some feedback as I go, so I was hoping some of the wonderful people here might be willing to follow along with me and share their opinions. Constructive Critisism is greatly appreciated, and I would love to know what you think. Winston is a jolly man who's always dreamed of being a naval captain. Though his considerable girth prevented him from joining the royal navy, his faithful bathtub made his dream come true. Winston soars through the sky in his bathtub, however the little vessel did not quite anticipate his weight, and has trouble staying in the air, pumping its tiny wings frantically to prevent losing height. This is the model sheet I have for Winston: ![]() ![]() Jillian's a balloonist. She spends her days floating on the air currents and seeing the world. Jillian's a little unhinged, so when she sees a man in a flying bathtub she doesn't really think anything is strange about it and waves happily to him. Jillian is designed in a very steampunky style. She's around 20 years old but still has very long skinny limbs with large extremities that indicate she hasn't quite filled out yet. I'm really happy with her costume, I'm not very good at painting and I think it came out very well considering that. This is Jillian's model sheet: ![]() My final Character is Johnson, he's the pilot of an Albatros W4 biplane. Johnson is the villain in my 3D demo reel for my final production at Media Design School. He will be modelled bust-up because he doesn't get much of a closeup so he doesn't need a body. I've kinda run out of time to do him for my submission, but I will finish him eventually. Here's the model sheet (clothing and figure): ![]() ![]() First models coming up in the next post (I didn't want to crowd this one). |
