Skate ramp

Hey,

This is my second work in 3ds max. Its going to be a close up of a skate ramp with a skater coming down onto it. This is the main ramp so far.

Please give me tips on making it better on some help on making the metal frame that holds the wheels on the skateboard together.

Also i need help texturing the skate ramp i made this plywood texture for it but need help applying it it goes too blurred .

This is the texture

the ramp needs a better transition (more bend) and make the ramp taller, as for the "trucks" (the metal frame) google up some pictures, it shouldnt be to hard, i would model it in pieces then match the vets and join them (google is your friend), as for the board do a little research google up some skate deck images some companies you can type in to google are alien workshop, girl, chocolate, Fallen, Baker, Element, zoo york, feed of those design, taken some of the logos place them on the side of the ramp, slap behind the coping....hope this helps, ive been storming up a skate park in my head that i want to do just a couple of ways i would go about finding refs
