SIN: Gluttony scene

Hey guys,

I'm going to be working on a series of scenes that have to do with the 7 deadly sins, starting off with "Gluttony". I haven't made a 3d scene in a good while so this exercise should help me get back into my creation zone. I will be working with 3ds max and VRay for this artwork and I hope to get some nice feedback from fellow 3dm3 members. Many of you have made highly inspirational work and I wanted to get back into 3d scenery again, building up my portfolio and hopefully landing a job with a studio sometime so I can start my career in CGI. (I'm already 20 and have failed to get a job anywhere, I feel time just passing me by faster than ever).

This piece will depict a murder of the person who commits Gluttony, and they will have a pig head to represent that sin. It will be filled with objects depicting drug abuse and selfishness, and will probably end up being very graphic at the end. I'm using a reference picture to start my scene off, but will expand on the photograph and put a lot of my own ideas into the image. I plan on this being my most "artistic" 3d scene so far and I am excited to create and share this with the community. Here's the photograph I'm using as a reference:

And here is my progress at the moment (I know, there isn't much to critique but I'll be posting my progress frequently on here to get your feedback)

All comments are appreciated :)

Sorry for the delay, I've been pre-occupied with other things lately and haven't had a lot of time to work on my personal scenes, but here is a quick update to the scene. I will have the hallway cluttered with food and drugs, showing the over-indulgence of the glutton, leading to his ultimate fate. I was bored and decided to model a cough syrup bottle since I thought it would add a bit of humor to the scene..albeit, it may be a bit distasteful to some lol.

I don't understand why I can't find the drive to ever complete my work, I always seem to lose inspiration and focus when it comes to making my 3d scenes..I want to gain the motivation back so I can start producing some real art, not just toying around with 3ds max every now and then and not actually getting something done. Any advice from the pros? I've been out of the digital art game for a little while now..
