My Room-in Progress

So I am not sure when I posted last but I figure its time I posted this, its getting better but there is still lots more for me to model,

This is a model of my room and I did everything in Rhino, and everything is nurbs. except the bed sheet, there is lots of trash to model and lots of crumpled papers,

looks like a good start mate, try to add some more speculars to your materials, its gonna give it a more realistic look

Well, I use Vray for Rhino, and I mean if it did take around that long, it was pretty high resolution, now if anyone has used it before and knows how to take down the render times, I would love it, but other than that, I do make smaller renders in just to get exaples of what it would look like, and then I do the big render, but I mean my comp is ok, just probably some settings that I dont know about.

hi, you've got some nice work there. keep up with it

and i don't know about rhino's vray but with 3ds max you can set the quality of the render, under the image sampler rollout you can set the type to "adaptive QMC" "adaptive subdivision" or "fixed"

if you use "fixed" you'll get a faster render but it will look a little jagged on shape edges but a simple blur filter in photoshop or within vray it's self will fix that
other then that you could try setting your GI engine settings, turning down the quality and such

hope this helps
cheers
