My First Poly Model

I was using the poly model spaceship tutorial in 3ds max to make this. I have a low-poly version here on the site http://www.3dm-mc.com/forum/showthre...=&threadid=914 I thought this looked a lot better with more msmooth. I don't know how to texture, hence the reason this isn't textured. I would like to, but I have to find out how to first. This is my first poly model or any model for that matter so be gentle, heh. I've made some video post and text 3d before, but this is my first model. I hope you think it looks good.

Thanks Limpan, yes it's the one that comes with max. I'll try mesh edit. Do you know of a good first tutorial?

Yeah Lilith, I agree. I just wanted to put the model out there as it was my first poly model, but I see what you're saying.

Thanks for the comments.

I cant give you the direct address to it, something whent wrong when I opend the page a minute ago...but its some of the first ones that lets you model a full body...the head on that tutorial is "mesh editi"

lol, thanks.

Ok, I found the tut, thanks. I think that is the same method as what they use on the Fiat 500 tut on that site.
