Rep Power: 0 ![]() | This is my first try on modeling a car in 3ds max. I used patches to model. However I had some difficulties handling the corners of a patch when i had a small angle (like at mudguard on the front wheel!), any suggestions on how to tackle such a problem? also, how should I go about making the recess for the handle of the doors when using patches, do I have to turn it into an editable mesh? Thanks and merry Christmas!:dedmorozb |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I can say that modeling requires lots of experimenation and patience until you get it right! However, I used patch grids together with the edit patch modifier. Go to www.3dlinks.com tutorials section and to page 8, I followed the tutorial for this. Good luck and enjoy maxing! |
