Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Modeling realistic headlights... i d/l this basic Subaru model. i just wanted to add a lil somethin. i want to add headlights to it. but i cant really get realism out of em. i have done alot of work with models but i really havent worked with lighting. can someone help me with this or give a few pointers? here is wut i have so far... i am also having trouble rendering CLEAR pics. how do i fix that? i want em to be crisp... |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | I have pretty much same problem.. I think first variant is the best... My advices : 1. Like Stryker said - use one color & attentation.. I think it should be white or light blue... 2. Add noise to your volume light ! 3. Improve the light objects (real lights, in car) - model it, make them transperent, add reflectivity... 4. Experiment... Good luck !! |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | thx ill try that. also... how do correctly set up the angles of the lights. such as... how far out they should go before hitting the ground, how far before they intersect and all that stuff? |
