First post around here! Thought I'd show off a Lamborghini Cala that I have been working on. It's close to being done but not quite so I put it in here.

This car was designed by Italdesign for Lamborghini, but it never went into full production. There were 2 full working concepts though. Because this never went into production, there are no blueprints so I had to do it all from photos, plus I found a side view that I used.

The interior is pretty much just temporary, I literally spent only 10 min. on it. And the door panels are definately being redone, as they are just for reference since I haven't cut the doors yet.

Been working on this since Sunday, modeled in 3D studio Max and rendered with Brazil. Oh well...here's what I've got so far.

P.S. I've only been doing CG for about 4 months, so don't be too hard on me.

Why be hard on a masterpiece. Looks just perfect to me, beside the fact that it seems at the front that both sides aren't welded yet, it looks amazing. I sure like it. I don't know about others. Keep on modeling.:D

Wow thanks all...here's an update...welded the two halves and cut the doors. Still needs to be smoother in some parts...

I like the new update. Good work. Especially the color fits perfect. Just a minor error that I didn't see before. The window above the door? Are you going to cut that out too?
Beside that error the whole thing looks perfect.

Suberb. I remember seeing a picture of the 'baby diablo' in yellow and it blew me away. I'm about to try my first car and if it's half as good as yours i'll be a happy chappie.

u need to cut the side window for the doors aswell, other then that, it is AWESOME considering u didnt have blueprints and u have only been doing it for 4 months
