Talking First model (Progression thread) of V4-F

Ever since, I started working with 3ds max 4 (now using 5 yah) at the begining of the year, I wanted to build a V4-F Lightning veritech from the Macross series. It's basically a kick ass looking jet. Im starting it now and I just wanted to make a thread of my progress. This will be my second model I ever made (first was a space fighter in MAX 5 tuts). (I just started to learn how to box model [when I say first model ^^ in the header, it's my first model that I have done without a tutorial]). All crits and comments are greatly welcomed.

Thanks...

Well I think im ready to add detail, only, im not exactley sure the best way to do it. Keep in mind this is my first model I have attempted to do without a tutorial, and my other tuts, never really added fine detail. What I have been doing is alot of cuts/slices and then extruding, vertexes and surfaces. Any TIPS are greatly WANTED.

My next screenshots will be in a higher quality***

Ummmmmm..........

Well I realize, that his model will definatly not be an exact replica, so its going to be a V4-F, modified, Reddman special :togo: . Still need some modelling/detail tips.
