Can you give me some tips for texturing tutorials?

I like it so far. I'm not too fond of the texture, at this time, but I do not know what you are going for with the look of this dragon.

The only thing I would cahnge at this point in regards to the modeling is the gums of the dragon. It may be a personal attitude, but I think that the gums should be covered up more than they are. I think the lips should cover the gums up more and completely obscure them. Other than that, it looks great to me.
