Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well first off, welcome to 3dm, you have found a great place. It's great to have you. I just wanna say that looks great! You're doing EXACTLY what I'm working towards. Are you using a tut to make this? It looks like the tut I'm using for the Fiat 500. I want to make this same dodge viper, but I'm doing this tutorial on the Fiat 500 first. Once again nice work and I guess I can ask you questions when I start my viper because you're doing a great job. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Viper Thanks for your words. I'm glad, that this work is great looks to You. No i don't used any tutorials. This is a simple spline modeling and surface modifier. I practice that method many times and it's not so hard how it's look like. With pleasure I take a look, how you create this car... may it will be look's better than my. So... start working :) And good luck! |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Nice job with the splines. Good balance between detail and a good mesh too, something that's difficult to get just right. The only gripe I have is the subject, the Viper is such an ugly car! |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | OMG, I'm going to kill you grrr:terror: :terror: :terror: The dodge viper is my favorite car, not the convertible one. Oh well, anyway, nice job on the model lark. The method I thought you were using was a type of polymodeling where you take one polygon and extend it from there. The tutorial is on http://www.3dtotal.com and it's the Fiat 500 tut. Maybe you know of tutorial that teaches what you're talking about? Can't wait to see it finished. |
