Rep Power: 10   | hi again. :p looks like i weary good start. i see you are using mental ray and sss skin?? right?? i love that the light go thru the skin on the ear and makes a read colore. how do you make that? every time i make a head and apply mental ray sss skin material i never see the light go thru. do i need to use a special light to? keep modeling, i hope to see more updates soon :yaya:

Rep Power: 0 | Yes. I use mental ray and the fast skin shader. :D Well you need to tweak the back light scatter weight settings value to get the effect. I will post my settings at here so look out for it. :P

Rep Power: 0 | SSS settings Attach are the settings I used for the head model. :) Take note that I model the head without any real measurements so the diameter of the head is around 94cm...O__O

I wanted to use the hair and fur modifier featured in 3ds max 8 but i'm still not that good in using the function. So I model the hair with polygons and going to rig it with bones to allow me to shape it later with little effort. :D

Rep Power: 0 | My progress for the project is going slow atm... XD For the hair, I planning to put a shell modifier onto it and collapse it and shape it to look like my original drawing. I'm going to save the mouth for the last part of the project. >_<
