| Supreme Digital Artist | No Mike, you are wrong. You are very good at texturing. I must say, it is perfect concept, the house background are also good. But water is the best and most realistic I have ever seen in a picture. ![]() A killer post Mike, really great...There is only one critic I have and it might not be important but it is still visible. The wooden board cant actually be seen from above or from an angle in the water because there are 2 things that are not logical. Also there there should be shadows above water witch can't be actually seen since it's around noon. Example 1. There is brought daylight and the water is at least 60% reflective, and the picture is taken form an angle. 2. The water is mixed with dirt and mud so is even harder to see anything as it is. So you can't see actually the shadow of planks thought water. ![]() PS: I know that this is not what you wanted but I hope you don't mind honest critics. Over all I am thrilled by whole concept, great job Mike. ![]() Cheers ![]() |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | don't worry about time guys. that's what is great about this competition. no deadlines. if not enough entries are posted this week the entries will roll into next weeks. so take your time and most important, have fun with it. edit: lol we posted at the same time. @ yorae. yes you can post as many models as you want. as long as you started over for each one. you can use what you want for a background just the abandoned dwelling is what matters. the scene you put it in may help in the voting. so before i ramble the abandoned dwelling is all that needs be modeled in 3d. scene and backgrounds may be whatever. like i used a curved plane with a material w/ bitmap applied. 2nd edit: lol i but have ran out of thanks to give. i tried giving yorae one but it won't let me. so, many thanks yorae.
