Mattepainting No.6 - "Airship Invaders"

Subject:
The main mission of the competition - Make Gaint Airship (Baloonships). Make it look like invasion. The Target can be City or Desert and Any Props. Feel Free to add Props.


Time: 2 weeks
Start: Monday, 21st December at 12:00 am GMT
End: Sunday, 3rd January at 12:00 pm GMT


Task:
-Create interesting and Creative architectural elements for your scene.
-Do not make a Mess by Stamping or Cloning
-As more photo realistic as possible.

Mine is almost ready! I'm working as fast as I can, I'm giving it all she's got captain! :P Even though, I fear mine might be the only entry, again. You should really put these competitions out more. Before the current version of 3dm3, the competitions would be posted on the homepage aswell. Why not now? People probably don't even now these competitions are being held...I know, because I know where to look for them.

Well the competition is already posted on the home page. You should probably look again. And I guess its the Christmas season so people are hardly interested in investing time here. And for the previous, this page gets a lot of visits but less competition. That makes another doubt clear thats its enough exposed to people. It means everyone wants to be a part of it but are not sure how to start. For which we Provide them the Links that they can see previous Work and how its done. . Sure i understand your feeling to be the only entry for this competition.
And i Would love to have your suggestion to make it more better.

I would like to add that more than before I made this myself. The water is made by me, as are the rockets, explosions and ofcourse the airships which are my own design. The sky is made from various parts of skies and the rain is made by me. The cliffs are from existing photography.
