Ok... let me try.

If this requires higher knowledge of your 3D program then I suggest you do something complicated and/or big to be less accurate or ... you can do something very simple and/or small but extremely accurate and precise.

For example, my idea was to make a small town/city. This you can do fast with snap settings. Streets and large buildings are easy to make.

Then again you can you can make something small like laptop/computer for example, but this must be done with every curve (buttons ans switches) and custom made textures.

So, to conclude this post I suggest we make a laptop or a city...

PS: This suggestion is only for higher modeling competitions, and it CANT be done in a few hours. This will require (by my calculations) 3-4 days.

Is anyone for this?

i got an idea hope you like it and it is also a hard thing to acomplish simply high skill test

Model a Emire!

For example

(roman empire)
(solomans empire)
(crires the great)
(Jeusslam)
(Persia)
etc all anceient with the lack of refrence`s it gona be tough to model and also texturing job will not be easy at all .

now how do i know that its a hard thing to acomplish bc i am trying to make some thing simmiler to it "Hanging Gardens of Babylon" frm 6 mounths and i am frakeed out Now its time to run a compitation on it so we can have an idea how to do it .

Ok... I see that you guys just don't have enough good ideas so I am going to jump in with something I thought for a few days. Here are my ideas displayed as links so you can see them for they are already searched.

lamp, radiator, radio, sport equipment, a key, remote, headset, vase, bag, watch, speaker, bottles, frame, glasses, corn, fan, chair, musical instrument

This is goldmine what I just wrote. Think of something and start another competition. These are all good for modeling. I cant wait next one to start lol...

ok so i have come up with an idea i guess it time to growup and do some thing special bc after all it 3dm3.com and there should be some thing hard as rock going on in here . whtt do u say well my suggestion is

MAKE THE WORST NIGHT-MARE YOU EVER HAD.
OR
LETS TRY SOME SPECIAL EFECTS . LIKE TRYING TO MAKE SANDMAN,WATCHMAN,ARMAGADON,TRANSFORMER,CHASH EFFECT,BLASTEFFECT, ETC
SIMPLY TRY DO SOME THING WHICH IS RELLY TOUGH.

PERSONELY I WOULD GO WITH 3RD ONE. BECAUSE ITS REALLY CHALLENGING.

Nice but vase is too simple.Most of the people will model it but someone will just lathe a line and then shell and mesh smooth.It should be something more difficult like the dinosaur competition.
