Rep Power: 1 ![]() | hey, i think you'll find its called freedom of speech and expression so people can create w/e they want however they want to, but keep in mind Buddha is a religious symbol which people believe in and worship so maybe a little thought about who you might offend would go a long way?. we are here to model am i right? so lets just model and not critique and troll the shit out of each other! (too much) oh yea and good luck to anyone who actually enters :)

| Member | To be honest, I think there will be less than 3 entries (or even none?) in this 'High Skill Modelling Challenge' because the models will take quite a long time to model, especially without sufficient reference image + organic model. In order to model the Buddha statue, you will need to have very good skills in modelling organic models and you must be able to model something based on a / a few reference image (usually only professional can do this). So, for the professionals, they don't really have that time but for those who have time (students / hobbyist) they don't really have such great skill. There might have a few hobbyist / student who can do this, but won't be many and most probably they cannot model that nicely (look almost exactly like what is shown in the reference image) Thanks. Note : Undeniable, this kind of modelling challenge is very "original" but personally, I don't think it will be a very successful one because there isn't anything to 'motivate' anyone to participate in that challenge.
