Airy living room by Rashad

this was my second architecture project which was a looong challenge due to my using mental ray renderer .
point your attention to the fact that mental ray is awaesome in materials and lousy in lighting .

Software Used:
3ds max

Completion Time:
2 weeks (because of mental ray)

thanks for the info magesh00 , but really, mental ray really takes some time when it comes to rendering so i'd really appreciate it if you would recommend another render system plugin for 3dsmax .

haha, if Mental ray takes time ye say, then try Vray, it'll take months :P but den it gives a deadlier output too :)

btw, very nice art....just dat i guess thr r many artifacts in the scene, the black spots. Try increasing the bounces n the photon levels :)

thanks shashanks18 , but please tell me , why would anyone use vray if it does take as you say months ?

PS: not contradicting you , i'm just asking because i want someone to recommend a faster+good quality renderer other than mental ray , and i'm hearing good things about vray and brazil r/s .
