The desk on which the lamp is has some too artificial texture, try improving them. Also it's nice to see that you have used 3dm3.com homepage on the computer there.

thanx a lot guys. yea i know sanjit, the texture on that cabinet looks terible :). i tryed to replicate the old and used surface of the wood with a mix map but it didnt turn out the way i wanted. i still have to work on this aspect. thanx again ... will be seeing you around.
