This was my first attempt at a full composite matte. I used like 7 source photos, some new brushes, and very little filtering. Comments and suggestion very welcome.

Photoshop

Completion Time:
8 hours give or take.

I really like this piece however without wanting to sound all noobish, What is composite matte? Is it a process of painting on top of an image or is it an effect created by painting?

Just been wondering thats all.

From what I read online, it's using multiple photos to make an matte image.
