Wink Surface tools.

For the max users. I have a lot of problems by adding a surface to my spline cage. If you have so this will sure help. When you'r spline cage is done (the vertixs made 3-4 side polygons) you add the surface modifier to the model an then.......My model lokes like a broken cloth. What i have do wrong. Nothing!!! I take the last chanse to finisht my model. All vertixs one at other fuse them and in the properties for surface make sure that the thershold is set to zero. This halp in every cases.

I don't really understand, but you can try to flip the normals in edit mesh

hi! sometime you can hade just a vertex to a side of a triangle polygone if you have one in your modeling, no mather where you put it, it may correct your probleme. And me i alway try to make 4 side polygone, it make better modeling this way. You can play with the flip normal in your surface tool and the patch topology steps. I work with the version 5.
