I used Maya for modeling, MR for rendering and Shave and Haircut for fur.
Textures, compositing and postwork with Photoshop.
The original image resolution is 3800x2375 and it took forever to render it out!;)
I hope you like the final result:)

oh look at that, beautifull.
i think the bacground is to flatt and to bright blue. maybe give it some more depth by att some gradiant or skies to it. anyways awsom render, and great fur :)

BTW. have you cloned the models or added the same texture on both of em? because when you look under the eyes on the fure on both of them you can see the same dark spots.
