Rep Power: 0 ![]() | a few more pics before the final (realy this time) one... This is an explanation of the SSS blocked by the bones. SSS in Modo is fast but doesn't let objects show through... Here is how I fixed It: - I rendered a SSS (subscattering/translucency) pass - I rendered a skeletton in a separate pass - I used the Skeletton as a mask to copy the SSS shading in another layer - I used the red channel of the SSS pass to mask the skeletton where It shouldn't be seen (where there is no translucency) - Copy this new layer and blur it to diffuse the effect through the skin. Ajust opacity to taste , comp mode (multiply works well) |

Do we have to write a in depth making of, do we have to contact the sponsors or just wait? Congrats to everybody who joined the contest!!!
