Ghost city : Weiss gregory

hi peeps,
my first post to make my entry and the first one on this forum. I hope to see very good things in this challenge.

There is a very long time i didn't draw something so i want to update my skills with photoshop and my wacom thanks to this challenge.
I will try to do a no-sharp but realistic matte painting.

So, lets start now with rough about some building to set up the guideline of the matte painting.

ty extreme.

During i've collected some photos and ressources for the matte i've tought about the organisation of the image.
So here is the matte organisation with the different plans (fore to back ground) and the directive lines (red ones) to optimize the buildings placement and so to direct the eye.

i have rethought about the concept and we will have 2 environnements : the suburbs on the foregroud and the towncenter on the background.
The main light will come from the sky, naturally, but just behind the tree which is on a building.

so i post the 2 next steps.

first : the road. this is the main part of it, sure i will add some props in the future like abandonned car, garbage etc...

second : an abandoned house. it will figured at the left from the road. i've did an animated gif 2 show you brievely the main steps to rework a picture.

enjoy it.
