I'm glad that you have finally decided to take part in this competition, good luck ;)

Everything looks quite nice (but I think it will take up lots of polygons, because there are many 'detailed' models in the scene, like the corinthian column, the cathedral etc.) I think you can make the man in the 'nuclear-proof' suit, since the nuclear power won't go off so fast :P To increase the 'creepy' feeling, I think you can make this at night, and the only source of light is the moon light, and maybe the man's torch/candle since there is no power, and everything is destroyed. A setting at night is always good to make a scene more 'creepy', and maybe you can add some 'white shadows' on places which aren't so obvious, but still can be seen (since there are so many people died)

Thanks :)

looks quite interesting but, in your sketches you show buildings and architecture that would be found way before simple missiles were invented. will you swap them with some more modern buildings with a similar architecture?

Well, at first, I was about to say like that. But, if you think carefully, these buildings still exist now in some places, the 'appearance' of them doesn't mean that it was in the past, it may because that the building still exist now in 'the future' ;)

Thanks :)
